We offer a number of DIY course segments, all part of our Hands-On Basement Finishing 101 program.

You want to finish your basement, do a repair, or tackle some other renovation project but you can’t afford to hire a professional to do it for you. Reading books, researching the Internet, viewing YouTube videos, attending free seminars at your local Building Supply Store is all good and well. But what could be better than having a professional visit you at home at your convenience to give you reliable, personalized and hands-on direction for YOUR particular project?

Your Initial Tutor Visit is key. He will assess your project with you and evaluate your personal knowledge and skill sets. He will then provide you with valuable direction and where possible with some hands-on training to help you tackle the project yourself.

Better yet, it’s very affordable! Your Initial Tutor Visit only costs you $99 + GST and includes a one-hour visit at your home and a 45-minute consulting session at your closest Building Supply store (i.e. Home Depot or Rona) to review the tools and materials you’ll need to choose from. Return visits from the tutor can be booked as needed at only $69 + GST per session.

Over the last seven years, TSD has trained many in the drywall trade and we are proud to have had a share in their success as today’s elite drywall professionals.

Effective November 15th, 2009 Toronto School of Drywall (TSD) has ceased offering these vocational training courses.

Why? With changing markets, we have decided to focus on offering our expertise to a wider range of people.

That is why we have created our innovative and exciting “Tutoring Services” for homeowners and for professionals. This is the epitome of personalized training, which allows each of our customers to attain his or her own goals on their own terms and budget.
